Every Model will know just how important it is to have a good portfolio. How a Model markets themself will determine the type of portfolio they require.
If you're a Model and you promote yourself via Agencies, then you'll need a good hard copy portfolio. You need prints to show your work when attending interviews, plus it's always a good idea to have a few additional prints to mail off.
If you're a Model and you promote yourself via the internet, then you won't need expensive prints. Your needs are different to agency Models and you should have a portfolio tailored for your requirements.

- Photographers cannot publish, for commercial gain, your images without your written consent
- If you pay a photographer to shoot for you, make sure you obtain an exclusive copyright agreement from your photographer, for the images or video
- Unless there is a written agreement with your photographer, you do not have the legal right to use the images for any other purpose than your own personal enjoyment.
- TFP work can be very one sided. Always make sure you have a written agreement with your photographer which clearly outlines how many images you get and what restrictions there may be on their use
